Brno Strike Successful – Line-Up Change and What’s Next
Zord returned to the stage in March with a powerful show in Brno, Czech Republic. The night proved once again that no matter the circumstances, the band delivers with full force. Massive thanks to everyone who stood with us in the pit — Brno was a statement.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the control of both Zord and Ektomorf, we were unable to take part in the previously planned tour together. This was a heavy blow for all of us, as we were ready to bring chaos night after night.
That said, we didn’t waste a single moment. The time freed up by the cancelled shows was fully dedicated to intensive rehearsals, expanding the live set, and working on new material. New songs are being shaped, arranged, and demoed — the next chapter is already in motion.
There is also a line-up update to share. The Brno show marked the last performance with our bassist Erik, who joined the band in December. Due to his academic commitments — including focusing on his thesis — he is stepping away from the band. We thank him for his time, energy, and the shows we played together, and we wish him all the best for the future.
At the same time, we’re ready to move forward. Our new bassist, Tamás Fodor (known from M.U.F.), has joined the ranks of Zord. He will make his live debut with the band at our April show in Komárno (SK), at RÉV.
Zord doesn’t stop!
See you at the next show!
